Hostel Kabelvåg can be found at the heart of the Lofoten Islands, in the Finneset peninsula, an area with dramatic landscapes, beautiful beaches and small fishing communities.
Open during the summer, the accommodation is based in a school and provides all the facilities you would expect including a kitchen, TV room, common room, laundry, Internet access and a dining room, where the free buffet breakfast is served. There’s also a sauna and you can use the hostels harbour area – relax in the beautiful surroundings or maybe have a barbeque!
Hostel Kabelvåg is 800m from the nearest bus-stop and only a few minutes from the popular town of Svolvaer, a small harbour town, and the village of Kabelvåg, one of the oldest fishing villages in Lofoten.
Due to its great location, Lofoten offers many outdoor activities - go hiking around the mountains; do some fishing, kayaking or diving in the crystal clear waters; mountain bike along the coast or go bird or whale watching.
