The hostel is located on the outskirts of Köpingsvik, three miles from Borgholm on Öland. Stay in an old-fashioned, peaceful environment in buildings dating from the mid-1800s.
The farm where the hostel is located was once one of the largest in Öland. Today operated organic vegetable farms here. The farm is certified by KRAV asparagus, garlic and pumpkins that are sold in own farm shop and the farm also operates KRAV-marked breeding of sheep and pigs. There are great opportunities for play and relaxation and you can stroll about the farm's vegetable gardens and feel the history from the ancient cultural buildings.
The restaurant at the hostel is in the White Guide, the book that brings together the country's 500 best restaurants, and we hope you find something that is to your taste.
All rooms are large and you live in the Big House, magazine, or in newly built apartments. The magnificent Great Hall dates from the mid-1800s. The magazine, which was once the granary, and workers' accommodation is also from the 1800s. The house has a beautiful old bread oven and a few rooms have working fireplaces.
