The first Hostelling International hostel in Jurmala. The one of the largest beach cities of Baltic Sea reagion. Opened 2009, offering everything needed for the budget travellers.

| Bus: | Comeing from Riga with microbus to Jurmala the bus stop "Dzintaru park" is where to leave the bus. |
| Parking: | Guests are provided with the parking place near hostel. |
| Sea port: | From Riga passenger port to the hostel about 25km. |
| Location: | hostel is located 100m (S) from the beach, 500m (E) from Dzintari Concert Hall and Jomas iela (promenade) historical city center. |
| Rail: | From the Dzintari Railway station walk to the beach direction (the way under viaduct and smal park), than turn to the right and after 100m on the Piestatnes iela turn to the left. Walk 200m til the Dzintari prospect, turn to the right and after 200m on the right side hostel is waiting for you. |
| Airport: | APT is located between Riga and Jurmala (15 km W). Take a taxi or order transfer via our receptionist -only 20,-EUR per car. |

| Although it was not high tourist season when we stayed (April 2011) I felt as though the staff were not prepared for our stay. The place was deserted when we arrived.
I inquired about wi-fi as part of the reason I chose this hostel was due to the fact that they had internet access (which I needed to make further travel plans at this point) and the man who showed us our room told me it was not available. I then suggested the hostel not advertise it if it was not available to guests as internet availability is a big factor in choosing a hostel. He then replied "I'll see what I can do". He returned with a password (which did not work), but I could not do anything about it because we were not told who to speak to if we needed anything, and I didn't see another staff member our entire stay (until we rang the buzzer repeatedly and again waited when trying to pay upon check-out).
