Julita is located in the heart of Södermanland next to the Lake Öljaren. The hostel is beautifully situated inside the open-air museum Julita - Sweden's Agriculture Museum. Guests have access to the park's large green areas bordering the lake.

In the early 1900s created a museum in the venerable cargo area. There are parks, gardens, vegetable gardens, classic interiors, dairy, fire station, church, brickworks and everything else that belonged to a large cargo to. Julita Estate has more than 360 houses spread over cottages and farms, two hundred cows, a large forestry and hunting grounds. The hostel was built in 2000 and is designed to fit into the old buildings.

During high season there is an opportunity to independently visit the Museum all the open buildings. For children Pettson farm and Pettson playhouse popular with adults and guests usually appreciate a visit to Julita Boden or in the garden shop.
