The million-dollar view from this Hostel will add a whole new meaning to your trip. Located right on the lakefront, with unobstructed views to the mountains beyond. A large cosy lounge with a log fire in winter overlooks the lake and is the ultimate place for watching the incredible shades of blue of this glacier fed lake. There is no bank or ATM (cash point) in Tekapo.
For your enjoyment our Hostel has a piano, a guitar, a DVD player and free DVD's, games and puzzles galore.

| Staff member did not take off deposit paid and reluctant to do so when pointed out. No bug screens on windows but so hot needed to have windows and door open. security window clips broken. | ||
