It was a great hostel and a welcome relief that it did not require a great deal of climbiong on the bicycle to reach. Only suggestion would be that it be accessible at all hours even if the room is not available. After cycling much of the day I arrived at about 15:30 and it was not open until 17:00. When cycling and carrying all belongings on a bicycle, it would be great top be able to drop off the belongings and rest for a bit in a lounge area. When I did get in at 5:00 the manager, Herr Weisl, was very nice and very accomodating.Enjoyed the stay very much. Bradley Russell

We had a rental car in Europe so everywhere we stayed we made sure that each hostel had some form of FREE PARKING. On the hostelling international website it says under maps and location that there is FREE PARKING in front of the hostel, we book online and then arrive to find that we have to pay per hour for car parking!!! And then the man behind the counter has the cheek to tell me that it does not say this on the website, which I could not prove because there was no internet access at the time we were there!! I have checked this again since and found once again that there is meant to be FREE PARKING there so don't believe everything you read. I do not rate these hostels at all as they are not backpacker friendly!!!!!!!!!
