Desert Nights Hostel is the economic option for all kind of tourists: backpackers, travellers, students and families that visit Huacachina, América´s oasis.
We opened in 2007, when we reformed an old colonial house in order to be able to accmmodate tourists in dormitories rooms.
We give familiar hospitality to our clients, helping them with their questions, worries and information.
I am Christie Coleman, an american that stayed in Huacachina when getting married to a Peruvian after travelling as a backpacker all over South America. That´s why it is impossible for me not to feel affection for everyone who comes to stay with us.
This is, without doubt, a place where you will feel comfortable, safe and, above all, at home.
We do our best to make you have a great time.

| Organised sand boarding and dune buggy trip with them, was excellent, definitely recommend | ||

| Hostel doubles as a resto at night, people walking in and out, so security can be iffy, especially because there aren't enough lockers for each room. My stuff was fine, but it was something that concerned me. Good place though, nice staff. | ||

| The Staff was very friendly and made me feel right at home, something I needed after Lima. The bathrooms always had t.p., soap, and paper towels - a huge convenience! Although the prices for meals were a bit steep, the meals I tried were tasty. The dorm rooms were OK, not overly big. One of the best things about them were the private safes. I even stayed an extra night because the location is so relaxed and great value. | ||

| The sand buggy tour is great value and a lot of fun. The best time to go is around 4pm so you can see the sunset over the dunes. The staff was very friendly and Christie does a wonderful job. | ||
