Everything was great, but the shower in the private room had no pressure, so we had to use the shower in the hallway.

The only downside to my stay at HI Downtown was the traffic and people noise outside - and that comes with the location! Thank you for a very comfortable stay in a very convenient location.

The room was too hot to stay in and so I only stayed one night and then I checked out and found another place. Unfortunately could not get my second nights payment back since I didn't know ahead of time that I'd need to check out early.

Had a great time! Sketchy location but nevertheless very convenient. Was a bit disappointed to find my room wasn't ready but you took care of it right away which I appreciated. Will come back again!

Everything was great. That they recycle and compost is also a bonus. The one 'problem' was that breakfast offered limited choices; i.e. bagels, bagels, or bagels...

The temperature of the room was much too hot and there was no control over it. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and such which made it easy to cook almost any type of meal.

The level of noise coming from the street was truly astounding. I got almost no sleep either night I was there. The public areas were very noisy, but my room was dark and the room temperature fluctuated wildly, so that was no more comfortable to spend time in.
