Regina hosts a renowned symphony orchestra and a wealth of natural and cultural history contained in museums, galleries, parklands and recreational centres. Historic Turgeon International Hostel is adjacent to the Wascana Centre - an urban park featuring bicycle and hiking trails, museums, and the provincial legislature. Wascana Centre is two short blocks from the hostel.

| If you just want a bed for the night, this hostel is fine, but compared to other HI hostels I've stayed in in Canada (4 so far)this one does things very differently and it soured the beginning and end of my stay in Regina. There is no luggage storage on check out day, no breakfast, no washing powder for laundry for sale, limited check in times and they require a deposit to use the lockers- why not leave them unlocked for people who do have their own locks? The bathroom set up is also minimal and I was lucky that there were only two other girls staying there while I was there so I avoided any problems that I think may occur if it were busy. Again, if you just want the basics then it is fine- but overpriced, but if you want more, you will be disappointed. unfortunately, as the only hostel in Regina, options are limited. | ||

| We stayed in Regina for 2 tonights and we really enjoyed the hostel and all the facilities. In spite of the house is being very old, the place is cozy amd warm. I would like to give just one suggestion, regarding the stair in the main entrance. It is in need of care and the hotel don't have any ramp with acess to the lobby. I helped a ma'am there with her lugage. If i wasn't there, she might be in trouble. | ||
