Hostel Details

Flåm YH is situated at the end of Norway's steepest train ride; the Flåm Railway and the Navvies' Road cycling track from Haugastøl via Finse (1,222 metre above sea level) to Vatnahalsen and then down the Flåm valley. Being situated at a narrow sidearm of the Sognefjord there are daily ferry and boat connections to a.o. Balestrand, Fjærland, Gudvangen and Bergen.

Also cabins (with and without bath) and cheaper rooms without bath available. Booking directly on flam@hihostels.no

Parking:	Parking area for our guests at the hostel and camping site.
Sea port:	From the port you take to the right, cross the river, take to the left and you will find the hostel at your right hand side after 300 m.
Location:	The hostel is located on the west side of the river Flåm. It is 300 m from the centre in Flåm with railwaystation, bus stop and harbor/port.
Rail:	Go off the train, take to the left, cross the river, take left again and you will find the hostel at your right hand side after 300 m.
Airport:	Follow the road E16 from Bergen to Flåm. About 2,5 - 3 hours drive.
