Blas de Otero Residence, newly built, is located right in the heart of Bilbao, just 10 min from Gran Vía and Moyúa Square. The Residence has 216 beds distributed in single and double rooms, all of them with private bathroom, equipped kitchen, fridge, direct telephone line, TV aerial, Internet and heating. The common areas consit of: gym, TV/DVD rooms, games room, laundry, self-service kitchen, computers room, parking optional. The Residence also has rooms converted for disabled access.
Prices include: accommodation, daily cleaning of the room (not on weekends nor the kitchen), daily change of towels and every 3 days change of sheets. Cleaning is not included in the price of the double room. Please note, during July and August, towels are not included in double room. They can be rented at reception for an additional 4 Euros.
Please note that from late March until late June 2013 there will be some refurbishments in public areas on the ground floor of the building. Apologies for any inconvenience.

| I did not feel safe to go out after 17:00, lot of very poor people and shabby surroundings

| Very bad location. Would not recommend. Accommodations are clean and reasonably comfortable. Staff are nice but not well prepared to help tourists. It is an University residence not a hostal. | ||

| Location is not good, it's not safe in the evening and night.
Value for money is increadebly high,not seen in Spain.
It is impossible to unload the luggage in the street, when unloading, no other car can pass and the driver has to leave immediatly and looking for a place???!!!.
No parking place.
