Alvados Youth Hostel is a new building providing 48 beds in eight twin en-suite rooms (one suitable for wheelchair users) and eight four-bedded rooms. This hostel, which opened its doors for business on 9th of February 2007, offers several additional services, such as self catering kitchen and laundry facilities, common room, lockers and parking facilities. Alvados Youth Hostel lies in the heart of the Natural Park of Aire and Candeeiros Mountains, close to Mira de Aire, Alvados and Santo António grottoes, thus an ideal setting for experience outdoor activities such as adventure sports, climbing, trekking, orienteering and even caving!! But this is not all! There are lagoons and loads of tracks for bike riding or walking!
