Sultan hostel is located right in the heart of the old city. Everything is (Blue Mosque, Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia, etc) only a couple of minutes walk from our place. Our friendly, competent and very experinced team will make your vacation compartable and very memorable.. guarenteed, you will love the location, people and the history around our hostel.

| first night we did not get a room with bathroom as ordered. Second night there was no water before 8am. Thereafter was ok. With luck we had the best room with nice view over the sea.

| The security would be improved with individual luggage-sized lockers available in each room. Security safe-boxes are available near reception but they are small and won't fit large bags or luggage. So you have to choose which belongings to secure in a safe-box and which to leave in your luggage. | ||

| We arrived in Istanbul after driving for nearly 1000 km, only to be told that there is no free parking, despite the fact that they've advertised it on all the booking sites. They even tried to tell us that we were mistaken (and the free car park was the only reason why we booked a room there, in the first place!), and only after we insisted one of the staff moved his car away and let us park in his place, in the small alley just next to the hotel.
Also, heating was off and we had to complain several times until someone came and fixed it. It only lasted for a day, though, as the radiators went lukewarm after a day. | ||

| the fisrt experience with the receptionist was very bad. He wasn't a friendly person, It's not a warmly welcome. Hopefully the rest of the staff was in a better mood.
The hostel is very clean.
