| The 12 dorm is at the top floor and there is no lift: it could be a little annoying.
The room is very comfortable, clean enough.
The hostel is in the center of nightlife, but a lite far from sultanhamet, the area with all historical attractions; moreover there isn't a good public transport service to get there: you have to walk a little.
Anyway, our stay was positive :) | ||

| Chambers of the Boheme is more expensive that the other HI-Hostels in Istanbul, but it's worth paying more to stay here. It's just off Istiklal Caddesi. It's nice to get away from Istiklal during your visit, of course, but while you are here you are close to many nice cafes and bars; the scene is less touristy than Sultanahmet; and, of course, there are hundreds of shops up and down the street. Also, the rooms are cozy and clean. The furniture is definitely not the modern, sleek stuff you find in a lot of Euro hostels, but that's a good thing in my opinion. You definitely feel like you are in Istanbul when you stay here! | ||

| The internet is slow using wi-fi for international travelers...but not on their own provided computer. The beds are pretty close to single beds in comfort. Area is great if one wants super night life, of cafes, restaurants and bars. | ||

| I love istanbul and chambers of the boheme. It is very clean hostel. location is great and it is confortable. The staff is the best i have everseen. I is very safe. You have own safe also it is free. also towels are free . I love all of the things about chambers of the boheme.

| Staff here were not hugely welcoming. Breakfast was often starting about 20 minutes after the advertised starting time. The big dorm room had good beds and the lockers were useful, but it wasn't cleaned regularly and the worst thing was the constant music bellowing out from the numerous pubs and clubs nearby until 3am every night of the week. Good place if you want a party, but forget going here unless you are a VERY sound sleeper. | ||
