| I cancelled my stay there through telephone with the owner of the property directly because it was impossible for me to reach there from Amelia. The first bus from Amelia to Narni FS was at 10 am, the train from Narni FS to Foligno FS at 12:30 am. Then I had to take a train from Foligno to Perugia FS. I checked the arrival time there in Perugia, which was at 17:OO am exactly. But the buses from Perugia to the lakeside village at Trasimeno left at exactly the same time, but obviously the bus station in Perugia is in the upper village, not next to the train station. There is about one bus every half hour between Perugia FS and Perugia bus station. So it was simply impossible to make it in time. I told this to the manager as a matter of politeness. The website might indicate this. I hope for the understanding in order not to charge me, because obviously I was charged already extra in YHI Assisi. My prepayment over there was not reembursed. |
