This 5-star hostel which was build in 2000, i situated just to the south of Copenhagen. The hostel is ideally located overlooking Koge Bay Beach Park - only walkingdistance to a large sandy beach which is one of the best in Denmark. Ishoj community consist mainly of green areas and wetland areas but has also great shoppingfacilities. Arken, the famous gallery of modern art, is situated in the area next to the beach park together with a marina, camp site and lakes. Take a trip inland on either your own bike or a hired one. There are 37 km of protected cycle paths in the green areas that gives Ishoj the title: the Green Gateway to Copenhagen. Ishoj is an obvious holiday destination all year round and is also the perfect starting point for visits to the city of Copenhagen, which is just 15 km away with all its temptations. Six suburban trains run to the city every hour.
The hostel offers continental breakfast buffet and sometimes also buffet dinner in the restaurant. In summertime we arrange BBQ from outside grill. Please check our website for low-season prices and special offers.

| Breakfast was very expensive - at 890DKK for adults and 670DKK for children that would be about £31 for breakfast for a family wth 2 children, even with the offer of taking your lunch it was still very expensive. this was clearly shown by the number of people self catering and the staff stood around in the breakfast room with little to do.
However the kitchen facilities for self catering were very good, especially with the use of a fridge. A good place to meet other people and very well stocked with equipment. | ||
