HI! Marimar Encantadas Hostel is located in the magnificent island “Ilha do Mel”. Here you will find a peaceful place, with great beaches and an ecological paradise ideal for spending your vacations, resting from your long trip, refuelling your energy and making new friends. Here you'll be able to enjoy the nature at its most. Make trekking, snorkelling, paragliding, boat trips to see dolphins and much, much more.
The island has an area of 27.2 Km2 from which 81% is an Ecological Station and another 12% is a State Park.
The hostel has a capacity for 70 people, with 4 and 6 beds dorm rooms, each one with its own bathroom. We also offer double and family rooms with TV and fridge, private bathroom with gas powered shower, fan, bed linen and towels. You can relax in our hammocks after a day at the beach, meet some friends and listen to good music.

| Bus: | From the bus station in Curitiba take a bus from the company Graciosa to Pontal do Sul or to Paranaguá. From there a boat to "Encantadas" Beach. The hostel is 150 meters from the harbor, by the beach. |

| This place is all about location. Fantastic breakfast- best in 2 months. Ill-fitting bed sheets, hard bed and a dirty kitchen let it down. | ||

Right on the Beach (RIGHT ON IT), great vibes, clean rooms with a bathroom each, great friendly and fun stuff and all that on an enchanting island. The location seems much better than the HI in Brasilia (the other Place on the island), I didn´t sleep in Brasilia though. Kitchen is not perfect, but hey... | ||

| The hostel is right on the beach, and has a friendly and chill atmosphere, pool table etc. for rainy days. Our only comlaint was a stench of sewer in our bathroom, and all the insects (dead and alive), but I'm guessing some of it is out of the control of the owners, and we never asked to get it fixed... | ||
