Home town of the writer Theodor Storm, Husum has long been a secret favourite of individualists and those who appreciate the healthy North Sea climate. Husum is North Friesland’s cultural centre and hosts the annual Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival.
 
The youth hostel is located on the north-western edge of town, towards Schobüll and Nordstrand.

Directions

Bus:By coach or car: A23, then B5; from exit "Zentrum-Hafen" direction “Zentrum” (centre), then left and follow the signs to "Nordstrand" or "Schobüll".
Rail:Husum train station is an Intercity station on the Hamburg-Westerland route. From the station it’s a 35 walk to the hostel or take the local bus from the market square (direction Schobüll) to the bus stop "Westerkamp".
