STF Hostel Hudiksvall occupies a picturesque spot by the ocean, just east of Hudiksvall. Along the coast there are several old and charming fishing villages preserved with their sheds, chapels and jetties.
There’s a large beach with jetties and a trampoline just 200 m from the hostel, and a jogging-path alongside it that is perfect for walking, running and inline skating. When the ice has settled around mid-December the archipelago offers superb long distance skating, skiing and ‘ice sailing’. The ski tracks where the Swedish Championships took place in 2005 are just a couple of hundred metres away.
The entire hostel underwent renovations in 2003 and 2006 and now offers double bedrooms and four-bed rooms. The reception and relaxation areas are to a very high standard. There is access to a sauna and Internet on the premises.

| We booked a double room in advance, but because of a failure in the booking system, there was no room left in the hostel and we got a cottage from the camping area. Everything was really nice and tidy in the cottage (we had own tv and small kitchen). | ||
