It was a nice hostel, spoiled by silly little things, Firstly, the room I was in had windows that opened next to te bar area, so there was constant noise in the evening, but in the mornings when people are up early to go to Huangshan Mountain, the noise starts at 5am. The room was very comfortable, but it had graffiti all over the walls. It was like staying in a squat. It is not what I want, when waking up in the mornings. Lastly, when I returned my key and keycard the receptionist wouldnt give me my deposit back unless I still had my receipt. When I said that I will keep the card and key then, she found a way around it and returned my deposit. The deposit is for the keys and NOT the receipt! The hostel is in a great location and provides a good servoce to reach Huangshan mountain. The bar is fine and food is passable (apart from the horrible pizza) I would recommend the place if you need somewhere to stay before climbing Huangshan mountain, but one night would be enough.

This is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I stayed in a twin room;; it was fine, like a three star hotel. The young lady at the reception desk is a superstar - good English, knowledge of the area, efficiency, etc. The bed is too hard but all Chinese beds are too hard for me.

Excellent service. I really enjoyed my stay at this place. They have a great bar/lounge/resturaunt, they provided soap and shampoo in the shower, the location was unbeatable, the ambiance was delightful, and most of all the services they provided (including busses/transportation) and especially personal customer service (answering questions for the guests) was impecable! I was impressed! And their English was excellent, as well! A great place to stay!

Thank you very much for everything. The stay was really nice. The town itself is nice but not much to see there.

They really were nice though the bus i had booked through them ended in disasterously with me loosing more than half a day waiting for a bus. Though they were friendly toilets were getting clogged often and would usually take half a day to sort out so on that they weren't very efficiant but booking tours through them worked out quite well.

Overall, very good. Only comment - if you exchange email with someone on staff who says that something can take place (e.g. you can leave your bags for one night when you take the shuttle to Mt. Huangshan), make sure you print it and bring it with you. The staff member on that morning knew nothing about it and we had trouble convincing him that we had permission to leave our bags.
