A perfect woodland escape in the Surrey Hills. YHA Holmbury St Mary was England’s first purpose built Youth Hostel. Set in 4,000 acres of woodland in an area of outstanding natural beauty, YHA Holmbury St Mary is a perfect rural retreat and a great base for day trips to London. Near to the village, it’s not far from Holmbury Hill with its panoramic views of the North and South Downs. Walking, mountain biking and horse-riding are available close by.

Accommodation is in 2-4 bedded rooms and facilities include a self-catering kitchen and evening meals, BBQ area and camping facilities.
