Tom Cats is a dinky little travel lodge located at the gate into the private game reserve of Timbavati and Klaserie- part of the Greater Kruger Park. Thornybush Game Reserve is close by. From Tom Cats open vehicle safaris in the private reserves can be arranged where guests are likely to see good numbers of animals as well as some of the Big 5. Tom Cats is built along side a picturesque dam in indigenous gardens. There is a bush pub on the property where travellers can meet others as well as local ranger guides. The lodge has a communal self catering kitchen or guests can eat at Bones Bush Pub. Other attractions are the Kruger Park, Blyde Canyon and all the acivities surrounding these areaS.
