Solfang, the youth and family hostel at Henne Strand (Beach), is a summer-only establishment which fits in nicely with the wide range of other accommodation possibilities ? campsites, summer houses, hotels and guest houses. Henne Strand was developed as a holiday resort in the second half of the 20th century. The hostel was built in 1935 and is 500 metres from the beach, in the centre of the resort. Restaurants serving fish dishes, cafés and café/bars and reasonably priced pizzerias are all within a short walking distance. You will also find well-stocked shops selling the amber jewellery from the west coast, summer clothes, swimming costumes and toys etc. Please check hostel for low-season prices.
