The hostel has a beautiful location, overlooking Geirangerfjord. Ample possibilities for fishing in the nearby rivers, lakes and the fjord. The hostel has hiking maps available, with many suggested tours, a beach and a small craft harbour. Important sights: Hellesyltfossen waterfall, the Synnylven church and the mountain farms at the Geirangerfjord.

Call for free pick up from ferry and bus station.

You can also rent bicycles, kayaks and a motorboat at the hostel and discover the spectacular landscape around the village yourself.

Hellesylt is the perfect starting point for numerous day trips to various highlights: Geiranger, the glacier Briksdalsbreen, Ålesund, the bird island Runde, or Åndalsnes via the spectacular Troll path... Contact the hostel to plan your stay!

Location:	Only 700 m from Hellesylt center. By bus: Tell the bus driver that your destination is the hostel in Hellesylt (Hellesylt vandrerhjem) - He will know where to let you off. By ferry from Geiranger: You see the hostel from the ferry - it's a white house with a great view over Hellesylt and the fjord. It's only 700m away, but it's a steep walk. If your luggage feels too heavy - call for free pick up! By car (from Ålesund/Stranda): Hostel is on the right hand side of the road, just before you drive down to Hellesylt center. By car (from Stryn/Geiranger): Follow the road for a few hundred meters in the direction of Stranda. You’ll see the hostel on the left hand side overlooking the center of Hellesylt. Bergen (Bus, 7-8h), Ålesund (bus, 2,5h), Geiranger (ferry, 65minutes)
