"Bed and Breakfast" for 2 in a 2 bed room was £50, with poor facilities eg the toilets/shower area seriously needs refurbishment. Private B&B in Hawes for 2 persons is now £60 for an ensuite with corresponding features. I have hostelled for 55 years, the present situation is rather a pity.
