Inzmühlen is a small place on the northern edge of the Lüneburg Heath Nature Reserve. The youth hostel is located in a large peaceful forest far from the busy traffic routes.
 
This hostel is an insider’s tip for those who can’t get accommodation in the Hamburg youth hostels since Handeloh is just a stone throw from the big city and it’s easily accessible by car or public transport.

Location Map
Bus:By car or coach: A7, exit Egestorf, then country roads via Egestorf and Undeloh. A1 from Hamburg, exit Rade, then continue on B3 direction Buchholz, in Welle turn left, direction Handeloh. A1 from Bremen, exit Sittensen and via country roads (Sittensen, Tostedt, Welle) to Handeloh.
Rail:Train to Handeloh station (2km from the hostel), luggage transport can be arranged; transfer to the hostel by horse-drawn carriage by prior arrangement.
