Österlen with its special light inspires artists from all around the world. Here you will find wide open spaces, miles of sandy beaches and open sea but also by a myriad of small shops, artists, cafes and restaurants.

The hostel is located between Simrishamn and Ystad in the heart of beautiful Österlen. At one time it was built around Skånelängan an ordinary farmhouse. Today Skånelängan transformed into a welcoming and cozy hostel.

From Hammenhög it is just a button mil to the sea and miles of sandy beaches. Within walking distance is a heated outdoor pool. Nils Glimmingehus and Kåseberga with Ale stones are other sights to be visited during a stay in Österlen. On Hammenhög you will find a quiet atmosphere and a good starting point to visit all those special places.
