Right on the river Weser, 10 min walk from the town centre
The town of the famous Pied Piper legend is situated approx 50km south-west of Hanover, capital of the North German land of Lower Saxony. Attractions include the Old Town of Hamelin with its many renaissance buildings. In front of the "Hochzeitshaus" (wedding house) the tale is retold in a special performance and the musical “Rats” is shown.
