The Pension Lantgården is situated in Hagaby, a small rural village, south of Löttorp in the northern part of Öland.
From here you can walk to the coast, hike along the seaside or make bicycle trips in the beautiful landscape. You are also close to the famous long sand beaches on northern Öland.
If you are interested in golf you will find the Öland golfcourse only a few kilometers away from the pension.
Welcome to stay in our countryside hostel near the sea. In the yellow mansion we have 7 double rooms and in the red longhouse we have 10 four-bed-rooms in. Both houses have kitchen, diningroom and showers and toilettes. We have also a number of smaller houses: 1 apartment with 2 beds, a kitchen and bathroom. One house with 2 double rooms, one 4 bedroom and one singelroom. One house with 2 double rooms and one singelroom.We also have a 5 small houses with 2 bedrooms and one kitchen (4 beds) You can also sleep in "hamock heaven". You can rent sheets and bicycles at the hostel. There are many facilities like boule and volleyball at the hostel. Nearbye beaches (walking distance 1km) are god for kite, windsurfing, bird and orkidee-watching. We are also happy to recive groups. The hostel is member of The Swedish Tourist Association and 2008 we were awarded with the first price for newcombers of all STF hostels in Sweden. | Parking: | Lots of free parking area on hostel premisis. |
| Sea port: | Several harbours on the island. Sandvik, Böda and Byxelkrok is some with guest-harbour. |
| Location: | You will find us by driving route 136 to the north. Just before Löttorp, about 3,5 'swedish mil' (about 22 miles) north of Borgholm, turn to the right when you see the signs marked Hagaby and Pensionat Lantgården. Drive for about 700 swedish meters and you have arrived. If you are arriving with bus, the busstop is on route 136 (Hagaby), about 700 swedish meters walking to the boarding house. |
| Rail: | Kalmar is the closest train-station. Conecting buses to the hostel goes directly from trainstation to a bus-stop 500 meters from the hostel. I can pick you up on my vespa. Look at www.klt.se and www.sj.se |
