The HI-Whistler hostel provides the perfect winter or summer retreat for guests looking to get away from the bustling city life! Located on picturesque Alta Lake, this rustic lodge is at nature’s back door and is only a 10-minute drive from Whistler village and Whistler/Blackcomb - one of the top-ranked ski resorts in North America.

After a day on the slopes, warm up in the hostel’s sauna or relax by the fireplace. In the summertime, take advantage of the great mountain biking, hiking and river rafting in the area. Bus:	8km from the Greyhound Bus stop in Whistler Village.
Location:	On the western shore of Alta Lake in Whistler.
Rail:	6km from Whistler Station (Lake Placid Rd)
Airport:	130km from Vancouver International Airport. From airport, head towards downtown and go north over the Lion's Gate Bridge. Take Hwy 1/Trans Canada Hwy for 12km, then take the Hwy 99 North exit towards Whistler for 100km. Turn left on Alta Lake Rd; we are on the right.
