The lights of the aisles were dark so I felt scared. Also, I slept on the second floor of the bed, It was a bit weak. Please check that. Everything was fine other than them above.:) Thanks!

I've stayed there three or four times in the last 18months, never more than a night or two. Either way, the location is the real key. The staff is fantastic, always helpful and just nice. The accommodations are great for those who really just need a place to sleep and stash their stuff, I don't lounge there so I can't speak to breakfast, excursions or even the tv room.

great location, enjoyed the free breakfast, staff were helpful with directions but gave me false information on a few occasions.

Loved staying the hostel, met lots of good people from everywhere. I think the room service is highly lacking, our sink was filthy for long before I got there.

Hostel response:
Sorry to hear that there was a problem with cleanliness in your room -- we definitely aim for a higher standard. I've passed your room number and the dates on to our housekeeping supervisor in order to see how this was missed. Glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay! Keith, Manager

we stayed for 1 week and the toilets haven't been cleaned once! Even if we asked reception staff to have them cleaned after day 3 nothing happened.

A nice place to stay, easy to reach from the airport or train station and in the middle of Vancouver.

My bed was not made up when I arrived. When I asked at the front desk for it to be made up they made a note for the cleaner, however, it was not made up for two day's. I moved to one that was ready in the same room. A girl that joined the room later had to sleep in the two day old un-made bed??? It wasn't until I had a chance to see the cleaners and told them in person that the bed was finally changed??
