Originally a Coast Guard station, Hostelling International Truro is the furthest hostel out on the "arm" of Cape Cod. Located in the Cape Cod National Seashore, the hostel is just a five-minute walk from the beach. Large picture windows provide a breathtaking view from the spacious kitchen and dining area. The hostel has two private rooms and a coed dormitory room. Breakfast, wifi access and parking are all free. All bed linens and a bath towel are included in the overnight rate. The Truro Hostel is open to individuals and small groups of friends, but not to large groups.
The hostel also provides quick access to fresh water ponds, bike paths, cranberry bogs, and nature trails throughout the National Seashore. Provincetown, a mecca for artists, with its numerous art galleries and craft shops, is just 10 miles up the road. Dining there is a gourmet's dream and then there are all those quaint shops. You can also go whale watching with the best fleets in the world or just take a walk on the trails through the dunes and marshes.
Hostelling International is a non-profit, membership based organization. Non-members may purchase a daily membership for $3 or an annual membership at the hostel. All guests must present a government issued photo ID (Passport, Driver's License, Identity Card) at check in and be 18 years or older, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please note that the maximum stay policy is 7 nights per calendar year.

| Hostel should stay open later into September and October. The outer cape has a lot to offer travellers into October.
I had awesome visit to this location this past year and plan on using my membership in Bethel, Maine during winter ski season.
