| Being across from a parking garage is was very noisy all night. The window couldn't be closed because then it would get too hot.
Other than the room location everything was excellent. | ||

| Staff was wonderful, location good but very noisy hard to get a good sleep, cleanliness OK but no vacuuming in rooms. Very sparse with wash basins outside of shower and toilet room so makes for disturbing others when you wash hands/face/brush teeth especially in the AM. One major complaint, do not ever allow elderly people with 4 legged walkers who have emphasema? This elderly woman was allowed to bunk with us on the 3rd floor. She was 75 in ill health, and feel down in the dining hall having just had knee replacement surgery. What are you thinking...If there was a fire the only escape routes are stairs and elevator. No elevator in fire, she is trapped. Allowing her in the hostel was disrespectful to all of us in the room with her as we had to trip around her walker, feel obligated to accommodate her and try to avoid being in the room when she was there due to all of the aforementioned. Thanks a lot. The stafff should have done a heads up on that. Homeless is not equal to hostel. | ||

| This hostel was amazing! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was even better than anticipated as union square was literally just around the corner. The room was cozy and comfortable to sleep in. It definitely had the most comfortable twin size mattress I've ever slept on in my life. My girlfriend and I only stayed for a few days so we didn't use the kitchen or common rooms much but they looked excellent as well. We will be back in the future. | ||
