| The front desk staff were amazing; The young gentleman took the time to show me the history of the building and make sure I was not lost when finding my party for the evening. Its staff like that who make Hostelling International what it is today. Thanks Sacramento! | ||

| This hostel is amazing! It is a beautiful historic mansion! The dining rooms and parlours are great and comfortable. The dorms and big and spacious (with lockers!) and the downstairs area with HUGE TV, nintendo, foosball table, chill rooms and laundry makes everything feel like an awesome home! Plus the staff were friendly and very helpful! | ||

| So clean and well run.
Surprised to see bunk beds when we opened the door. Staff found another room quickly.
Nice to have coffee and breakfast. As an early riser, would have appreciated earlier access to kitchen. | ||

| My only "criticism" is that the bed was a little hard for me, and the shower water was cool (although some people said in the morning there was plenty of hot water). Both were minor inconveniences, and overall I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the building and the location was perfect for me. | ||

| My husband and I had a rental car and was able to park it in the gated lot next to the Hostel. Since the Hostel was within walking distance to Old Sac and other points of interests, we just left the car parked at the Hostel. | ||

| my only feedback is the towel for $1 is skimpy and old. New towles are not that expensive! Invest in some better ones. | ||
