Weisel Hostel, operated by Bucks County Parks and Recreation, is a 100-year old country estate situated within the tranquil natural setting of Nockamixon State Park. Year round activities start right at the front door, and include hiking, biking, boating, fishing and swimming. Weisel Hostel is located in historic Bucks County along with many other notable sites and 13 covered bridges. Nearby historic Doylestown, the hometown of James A. Michener and home of the Michener Art Museum, is also home to the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works. Visit the Pearl S. Buck House in nearby Dublin, or the artist colony of New Hope with its galleries and shops situated along the Delaware River.
