| The cheapest I have ever been living in US. The staffs are helpful and I.formative. It's located in Pearl district which is a very interesting neibourhood and very walk friendly. The building is old-fasioned with standing bath-tub. The facilities ( e.g., kitchen and common activity room) are simple but can cover most of my needs. The heating is the dorms are not quite warm during my stay inDecember, but they can provide extra blanket upon request. A very comfortable to stay in. Portland. | ||

| A wonderful 'old' hostel in a a lovely city. The hostel is somewhat outside the centre, but since Portland is relative small, you can easily walk to the centre (10 min max). The only 'negative' point of this hostel is that the checkin closes at 12 PM (although they can wait for you when you call them, but you have to pay 10 dollars extra) and it is somewhat difficult to reach it by public transport. | ||
