On one of Portland's most popular destinations. Close in, bohemian, & fun, Hawthorne Blvd is known for it's quaint eateries, coffeehouses, pubs, unique shops, and the famous Bagdad Brewpub & Theatre. A quick trip to City attractions such as Powell's Books, Old Town, Weekend Market, Washington Park, Willamette River Promenade, etc. It's the perfect blend of urban pulse and friendly attitude. 'I had a blast there! I loved Portland, the hostel, and everyone there. Thank you!' Bernadette Miami, Florida. 'Hawthorne is a funky area , full of quirky little shops and cafes. The transport to downtown is frequent and easy. This hostel feels like a hostel ought to !!!' - Paul C., Essex, England. Both 'Let's Go' and 'Lonely Planet' recommend staying with us. The hostel atmosphere is charming (dating back to the early 20th Century), clean, & safe. We have a spacious kitchen and common rooms, comfortable beds & attractive bathrooms.
