| I stay there only for one night so I can not tell more about it. What I can see are pretty clean facility and good security with very friendly staff.Just a tiny problem though. For late check in, the location is a little scary since it is in an alley. I checked in at 11pm and my friend thought we were lost, although we were not. | ||

| A great little hostel in the historic old city district of Philadelphia. It was smaller than I thought it would be, but it was a great little hostel. I enjoyed my stay there, and if I am ever back in Philadelphia I will stay again. | ||

| I had some hairs, which where definitely not mine, on my bed right when I got my bedcovers. But besides that it was a perfect stay and I would always recommend the hostel and book it again while I am in Philadelphia. Hostel response: I'm sorry if our housekeepers missed some hairs on your bed, they're normally good at spotting that. I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay though! ~Marc | ||

| I would not stay at this location again.
Hostel response: I sent you an email when I read your review on this website, but I haven't heard back from you yet. I'd like to know if perhaps you were thinking of a different hostel when you wrote your comment. Or, if it's not a mistake and you didn't enjoy your stay, I'd like to know what went wrong so that we can fix it and do our best so that no one else has the same issue. I'm very sorry if you didn't enjoy your stay! ~Marc

| My first experience staying in a hostel, so I can't compare it with others, but I enjoyed my experience, liked everything except the bed. The mattress was low quality or too thin, just not comfortable, and I had trouble getting to sleep the first night because of it.
Hostel response: I contacted you directly as soon as I read your comment here. Thanks again for letting me know of the problem with your mattress and letting me know which bed it was. You also explained to me that since it was your first visit to our hostel (in fact, any hostel) that you assumed that all the mattresses are like that. Well at our hostel we have "real" mattresses, the same as you find in your home. And as you know, mattresses eventually go bad and need to be changed. It's obvious that yours was going bad so we've replaced it thanks to your help. If you or anyone visiting our hostel encounters a bad mattress please let our staff know and we will replace your mattress. I hope we see you again! ~Marc
