Availability Calendar

A 20-minute drive north of Lake Louise brings travellers to the peaceful, rustic cabins of Mosquito Creek Wilderness Hostel. The hostel is close to excellent ice climbing, cross-country ski trails and an extensive network of hiking trails. After a busy day of activities, warm up in front of the hostel's cozy fireplace or unwind in the sauna.

Bus:Greyhound bus goes to Banff and Lake Louise - then you can access a SUNDOG TOURS shuttle bus, it runs once daily - 1(888)786-3641
Parking:Available at hostel
Location:On the Icefields Pkwy (Hwy 93) between Hector Lake and Bow Lake. It is 26km north of Lake Louise, next to the Mosquito Creek Parks Canada Campground.
Airport:220 km from Calgary Airport, approx. 2.5 hours drive. From airport, head west on Hwy 1/Trans-Canada Hwy. After 185 km, take exit onto Hwy-93/Icefields Pkwy toward Jasper. After 25 km, you will see us on the left.

Mu husband is 6ft & the beds were very short so he slep badly. I am 5 ft 7 inches & my feet were at the end of the bed. Instructions need adding over the stove of how to light the oven. The warden was cordial but not over helpful or over friendly.
