Travellers from around the world will be treated to Texas-sized hospitality and camaraderie with fellow hostellers at the Houston hostel. Housed in a gracious historic inn on a tree-lined boulevard, the future HI-Houston hostel will host guests in shared dorms and private rooms. The Montrose neighbourhood is ideal for a hostel. Close to public transportation, downtown and the museum district, everyone will find fun things to do in Houston. Walking distance to affordable restaurants, coffee houses, and clubs, hostel guests will also enjoy Houston night life.

Our kitchen is stocked with all the stuff you need, but never want to buy while traveling. We have olive oil, spices, pasta, rice and flour at your disposal. We also have complimentary tea and coffee available to our guests at all times.
PLEASE NOTE: Hotel occupancy tax of 17% is not included in your total and will be added upon arrival.
Rates quoted assume guests are members of HI-USA or a National Youth Hostel Association. Non-members will pay a daily membership of $3 per person, per night. Annual memberships are available for purchase at the hostel for $28 for an adult and $18 for seniors 55+.
Cancellation Policy: You must call or email by 5pm the day before your intended arrival to cancel or change your reservation. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your entire deposit and a charge to your credit card for the first night's stay.
We have a 14 day max stay policy. Guests can stay at our hostel for 14 nights within a 60 day period. After the 14 days have been reached, the guest must wait at least 60 days before staying at the hostel again.
HI-Houston cannot accommodate guests who reside in Houston or the nearby surrounding areas. United States citizens are required to show a drivers license or government issued identification card at check in. U.S. Passports will only be excepted if the guest is able to provide additional documentation that they do not reside in Houston or the nearby surrounding area.
