HI - Canmore is ideally located on the eastern outskirts of the town of Canmore on the eastern boundary of Banff National Park, in the heart of world-class hiking, rock and ice climbing, mountaineering and skiing. Comprised of two buildings, each has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, fireplace, deck and barbeque, with a sauna also available in the main building. HI - Canmore is ideal for small and large groups or individuals looking for a quiet, affordable overnight stay in the Canadian Rockies. With the exception of groceries, HI-Canmore is equipped to provide you with everything you may need during your stay, be it as a one night jumping-off point to the backcountry or for longer term recreating in the Canmore/ Banff area. | Location: | Travel Westbound on the Trans-Canada Highway (#1) from Calgary to Canmore. Turn right at the first Canmore exit after crossing the Bow River, signed for Hwy 1A. Turn left (East) onto Hwy 1A. After 0.8km, turn left onto Indian Flats Road. |
