| My girlfriend and I spent New Years Eve at the Athabasca Hostel and an amazing time. It was not my first time staying there. The staff are always friendly and the value is unreal. Not to mention the location is the best in the world. I would recommend staying at this hostel at one point or another in your lifetime. | ||

| Hostels are great and this one seemed to be very well run and organized. However, I did not feel real welcome. The person who registered me seemed a bit bored reading his book/Kindle. The big welcome seemed to be laid out for a tour group (Moose tours - I think) when the hostel staff joined in the party and meal while the rest of us seemed a bit like second-class citizens.
Anyway - its a small point. Hostels are great. | ||
