| Ônibus: | Guests who are not driving their own car can, on request, be picked up at Egilsstaðir or at the byway to Húsey for a reasonable fee. |

| Localização: | Húsey is located away from busy roads and towns ca. 55 km from Egilsstaðir and 30 km from the main road. To visit Húsey you take road no. 925 from road no. 1 (turning near the bridge over Jökulsá á Dal), then take road 926; The gravel part of the road is not in a great condition so take it slowly, it is a beautiful drive and the destination is well worth the drive. The road is passable by all types of cars all year round. |
