In Grañón, the last village in La Rioja, important stage in the Camino de Santiago (Santiago Pilgrimage), before getting to Burgos, once a border with Navarra Kingdom and Castilla County. It rises on the Mirabel Hill, a paradigmatic example of St James´s Town Planning. Nuestra Señora de Carrasquedo Chapel and its surroundings with oak groves, is one of the places worth a visit in Grañón. Near Suso and Yuso Monasteries.
