The youth hostel is situated at the foot of Rammelsberg Mountain, one of the most beautiful spots in Goslar.

The slate roofed half-timber house is ideal for individual travellers as well as families and groups, such as sports clubs music bands and schools, for holidays, conferences and workshops in a relaxed atmosphere close to town.

The hostel should have free internet for guests. 3 euro per hour is very expensive. Apart from that, it was a very pleasant stay.

In over 40 hostels in the last 3 months this was the most expensive Internet at 3€ an hour. Rude staff, lock out at 10 but you were given a giant key to carry around if you wanted in after lockout. Outside the city which meant a fair walk to anything. Oh and directions were wrong, bus 308 doesn't exist.
