| Great hostel in an interesting building. | ||

| The bed was too short, I had to put the mattress on the floor in order to sleep. The window was broken and wouldn't close enough to lock - and my room was on the ground floor. I wasn't concerned about security when I was in my room, but felt uncomfortable leaving my things there. | ||

| Great location. Walking distance to university, botanical gardens, school of art and downtown attractions and buses easy to get to further away ones. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wifi very weak and did not reach to my room. They should not advertise wifi if they cannot deliver. Had breakfast once and do not recommend. Self service kitchen better. This is a friendly but ramshackle hostel. Serves the purpose but sure could use some upgrading | ||

| Great staff who work hard to provide info about what's going on around Glasgow. Quiet location across from park is a bonus, as is the slightly run down classic building with carved wooden railings & other features. | ||

| £25 for a bunk bed (syha policy) is too much especially considering it didnt say on the booking comfirmation. £7 for breakfast (not included) is a rip-off | ||
