Surrounded by serene forests on the banks of the Inselsee lake, Güstrow Youth is close to town. The location is ideal for excursions into nature, for fun, sports and culture. The cities of Rostock, Schwerin und Lake Müritz are close-by. The German sculptor, print maker and writer Ernst Barlach used to live here at the height of his creative output.
Güstrow has many highlights to offer: nature and environment park with touch trail, Aqua Tunnel (underwater tunnel), Güstrow Castle (Italian, French and Central European Renaissance influences).
Right outside the hostel is the Inselsee lake – ideal for swimming, sailing, surfing, rowing, paddling etc. What else is on offer you’ll find out by yourself. It’s worth it.

| Bus: | A19 (Rostock-Berlin) until exit Güstrow-Süd, then B104 direction Güstrow. Between Kluess and Güstrow turn left direction Mühl Rosin. The youth hostel is situated about 50m after entering Mühl Rosin, first entrance before the bus stop. |
| Parking: | Parking for 40 cars, separate parking for coaches. |
