A vibrant art scene just around the corner, fabulous views of the Old Town, St Peter’s Church and beyond the Polish border… Görlitz youth hostel has a lot to offer. Opened in 2010, the hostel is located right in centre of the town that was used as a film location for Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds” and “The Reader” with Kate Winslet. The location is great to explore the town on your own and for trips across the bridge into Poland.
People aged 27 years or over pay a surcharge of €3.50 per night.
Surcharge for single and twin rooms p. p. p. n. (subject to availability): Single: €10 Twin: €5 (doesn’t apply to group guides).
Families: Families and adults aged 27 and above travelling with children (under 18) pay junior rates. Children up to the age 2 stay free of charge. Children aged 3 to 13 receive a 40% reduction on the junior rate. A valid DJH family membership card is compulsory to benefit from these offers.
Groups: All group members (including guides) pay junior rates. Nursery groups receive a reduction of €2.50 per child/night. A valid DJH group membership card is compulsory to benefit from these offers.
Disabled travellers: Travellers with a certificate of disability and their official carers (as stated in the certificate) pay junior rates. Official carers don’t need to be DJH members.
