Fribourg is a bustling city, with its fantastic sculptures and fontains created by Jean Tinguely, who lived and worked there. It is also a reassuring city thanks to its medieval buildings' walls which give charm to the centre of the dukes Zähringen's city. Above all, it is a fast moving and charming city thanks to the many students and the friendly locals. The River Sarine goes right through the town.
