This hostel is a seasonal hostel, which means it is not open all year and has seaonal opening times. Please keep this is mind when checking avaliability. Førde is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and the area has got plenty to offer when it comes to outdoor activities. How about hiking in the mountains during the summer, or try cross country or downhill skiing during the winter? The hostel is located next to the hospital, approximately 2 km from Førde centre.
Breakfast and linen/towels are not included in the price. Reception is open from 0800 -1200 and 1700 - 2200. Members of Hostelling International are entitled to 10% discount on the overnight price at arrival.
Driving directions to Forde Hostel: Arriving from north: Exit E39 in the first roundabout, turn right and continue appprox 2 km towards Forde Sentralsjukehus (hospital). Pass the hospital and across a small bridge. Turn right after the bridge, and then follow the signs by the first road to the left. Arriving from south: Follow E39 and take to the left in the third roundabout, continue appprox 2 km towards Forde Sentralsjukehus (hospital). Pass the hospital and across a small bridge. Turn right after the bridge, and then follow the signs by the first road to the left. From Førde centre: Drive towards Angedalsvegen (pass the Taxi), for approximately 2,3 km. Pass the bridge that leads to the hospital, and then take the first road to the left.

| The room was a not so clean as expected. The staff was great! Really! There's free Wi-Fi, a room to see TV, etc., etc., etc..
My only complaint is the room cleanliness. Could, and should, be a lot better. The beds are not so great. The bathroom, again, could and should be a lot cleaner than what was presented to us. Hostel response: | ||

| Hello,
The only very professional staff I encountered in Kongsberg and in Karmoy is was alright. The rest (Forde, Hjelkinn, Molde) were dissatisfying. My rating here above is only applicable for Kongsberg! | ||
